Tricia Kingery is recognized as one of West Virginia's most experienced communications strategists, especially in areas impacting our youngest children. She has dedicated her life to helping non-profits, particularly those that exist to make life better for children, find meaningful, creative and cost-effective ways to educate others about ways to strengthen their mission. She is an expert strategic planning facilitator, project manager and marketing specialist. A nationally experienced consultant, she has the ability to assess, manage, and build the relationships - vital to developing strategic initiatives and building effective teams. Tricia serves as the
Executive Director of the West Virginia Child Care Association, a statewide group of child welfare providers who advocate for children and families by sharing member knowledge and resources, providing quality training, embracing partnerships, and influencing public policy. With a MBA from West Virginia University, MA in Counseling and BA in Psychology from Marshall University, Tricia understands both the fundamentals and psychology of managing an organization. She is a dedicated advocate for children and families in that in addition to serving as the WVCCA Executive Director, she is involved in projects for the WV KIDS COUNT Fund, United Way of Central WV and the WV Department of Education to name a few. She presently serves as President of the Family Counseling Connection and Founder of the John K. Clendenen Scholarship Fund, a scholarship in memory of her father - a principal who dedicated his life to educating students and inspiring everyone around him to make everyone feel like someone.

Angie Paxton is a skilled communications consultant with years of experience in marketing, public relations, event management and media relations. She provides unmatched organizational and communication skills and demonstrates commitment to exceeding expectations. Angie is a dedicated advocate for children and families in that she serves as the Program Coordinator for the WV Child Care Association. In this role, she manages the annual conference, supports grant compliance, ensures financial and operating procedures are followed, staffs the Agency Support Committee, drafts minutes, maintains the contact database, develops constant contact messages and is responsible for a host of other duties that ensure members receive value in belonging to the state's oldest child-serving professional advocacy organization. She received her degree in Business Administration/Management from West Virginia State University. Angie is a proud board member of the Family Counseling Connection.
