About WVCCA
Formed in 1979, WVCCA impacts services and public policy across a wide spectrum including adoption, assessment, emergency shelters, family-based treatment, therapeutic foster care, therapeutic group care, family preservation services, independent living and residential treatment. While providing a forum for information exchange on programming and issues affecting service delivery to its member agencies, the Association also strives to be a voice for the children and families it ultimately represents.
WVCCA represents companies throughout the state of West Virginia that operate a wide variety of behavioral health and child welfare programs statewide for the most vulnerable and difficult children in WV-children who have experienced abuse, neglect, emotional and behavior disabilities, substance abuse and/or delinquency.
Our Mission
WVCCA advocates for children and families by sharing member knowledge and resources, providing quality training, embracing partnerships, and influencing public policy.
