WVCCA logo
Formed in 1979, WVCCA impacts services and public policy across a wide spectrum including adoption, assessment, emergency shelters, family-based treatment, therapeutic foster care, therapeutic group care, family preservation services, independent living and residential treatment. While providing a forum for information exchange on programming and issues affecting service delivery to its member agencies, the Association also strives to be a voice for the children and families it ultimately represents.

WVCCA represents companies throughout the state of West Virginia that operate a wide variety of behavioral health and child welfare programs statewide for the most vulnerable and difficult children in WV-children who have experienced abuse, neglect, emotional and behavior disabilities, substance abuse and/or delinquency.

Our Mission

WVCCA advocates for children and their families by sharing member knowledge and resources, embracing partnerships and influencing public policy.

Our Vision

WVCCA will lead the way in inspiring others to help children and families.
